TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
Welcome to Green Girl Cleaning and thanks for visiting. By accessing our site, you are agreeing to these terms. So please read them carefully.
Health First: Everyone's health matters- We ask that you notify our office if you or anyone in the household is sick or contagious so that we can take precautions and/or reschedule your visit. We will not send our cleaners if they are ill or contagious. If your home is infested with fleas, bedbugs, etc., you must notify us so that we can reschedule your visit. You will need to show proof of extermination in order to resume services. If an employee spreads the fleas, bedbugs, etc., because we were not notified, to their personal place of residence, another client home or office, or our equipment, you are liable to cover all fees associated with damages and extermination.
Keys: Please make sure your home is accessible to us. Because your scheduled cleaning time may change on each occurrence, we appreciate a key to your home, or even a lock box somewhere around the house. Your regular cleaner will have your key on her at all times if given to them with your permission. You may also hide a key at your house and let the office know of its location. If you wish to not grant us access to a key or door code, you must plan for an alternate way of entry. If we are unable to gain access upon arrival we must charge 50% of your cleaning rate or cleaning estimate rate. If we are en route and you cancel, we must charge 50% of your cleaning rate or cleaning estimate rate.
Security Alarms: If your home is equipped with a security system, please ensure that it is in the “off” position. Otherwise, please inform our office of the correct codes and input sequence before your scheduled cleaning and leave your alarm in the “on”. Please notify our office if the code or sequence changes. This also applies to homes located in gated communities.
Office Hours: Our office is open Monday- Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. After hours or weekends, a voicemail or e-mail can be left and we will return it the following business day.
Referrals: Tell all of your friends about Green Girl Cleaning LLC. If your referral books with us, that's $20.00 instantly off your next cleaning. Make sure your referral informs the office who sent them so we can credit you for your hard work!
Charges: Unfortunately, we have to reserve the right to enforce these:
1. If it is necessary for you to change, cancel, skip or reschedule your cleaning day, we require at least 48 hours notice. Late cancelation: A late cancelation fee of $30 will be charged. Please leave a detailed message if you are unable to reach the office via voicemail, text message or e-mail.
2. Should you at any time require a modification in your cleaning or wish to change the cleaning schedule or frequency, a quick call to our office is the surest way to expedite this. If upon arrival, we do not have access to your home or office, we will require 50% of your cleaning quote to cover our expenses. Our employees daily pay is based on the jobs they have scheduled for the day. When you skip on short notice or lock the employee out, we won't have the time that is needed to fill your spot and our employee's pay is affected. Unfortunately, this also causes scheduling problems with our other clients.
3. If you are a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly client and you have rescheduled with us, your next visit will be charged at that rate. Example: If you are a weekly client and need to reschedule for the next week, you will be charged for a bi-weekly rate. If you are a bi-weekly client and schedule an extra cleaning between visits, you will still be on schedule for your next visit and will be charged your regular amount. If you cancel the following visit because of an extra visit, the rates and cancelation fees will apply.
Equipment and Supplies: Green Girl Cleaning LLC supplies every visit with all natural, pet and child safe cleaning supplies, vacuums and mops.
Arrival Time: Please allow us the flexibility of scheduling or cleaning between 8:30 am and 3:00 pm We ask for a 2 hour window when it comes to a scheduled time. We will make every effort to accommodate your scheduled time, however no times are guaranteed.
Clutter: The cleaning will be far more satisfactory if the employee does not have a great deal of clutter obstructing the cleanable area. Example: desks that have a large amount of paperwork are unable to be cleaned. Please pick up toys, clothes, paperwork, etc. before your appointment so we can do our job.
Payment Policy: Payment is due on the day of cleaning. If a check/cash is not left for our employees, a charge of $5 may be added at our discretion. A balance overdue by your scheduled visit of 14 days from the visit will incur a $25 fee. Accounts that are past due a month following will service will be charged an additional 1.5% per month (18% annum).
Arrangements made with the office for Paypal must be made within 48 hours of receiving your invoice.
A fee of $30 will be charged for each non-sufficient funds check returned by the bank. In the event the account requires legal action, the customer agrees to pay all costs of collection without limitations for attorney fees, court costs, including interest on past due amounts.
Accidents: If you have heirlooms, valuables, etc., it would be helpful if they would be secured or put away to avoid any accidents. If an employee damages an item, they have been instructed to leave a note for you and to call the office immediately. We reserve the option to repair or replace the item, or turn it in on our insurance policy. A dollar detailed amount of a “one of a kind item” must be demonstrated in order to determine a correct value. We cannot be responsible for unsecured wall hangings or otherwise unstable things that are prone to falling and breaking.
Holidays: Holidays observed by Green Girl Cleaning are July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Christmas Eve and New Years Day. Regular service will continue on all other holidays. Should your visit fall on one of these days, the office will contact you to reschedule. If you wish to reschedule due to a holiday that is not observed by us, call the office at least 48 hours in advance to avoid the late fees.
Quality Control: Our quality control consists of communication from our owner and employees to the client. Supervisors may come to your home to as needed to ensure your satisfaction.
Extra work: Our employees are instructed to clean following the guidelines of what is included in our services. If you have additional needs, please contact the office at least 2 days in advance so we can approve the schedule and extra time in your home. We have to be fair to all of our clients.
Tips: Tips are very appreciated by our employees, but they are not required. A recommended tip is usually about 10% of the total cleaning fee.
Reminder: We are cleaning professionals, not magicians. Sometimes, we are called in too late to repair the damage. For instance, we cannot polish corroded chrome, stained floors, or fungi stained showers. Some items may also take a few cleanings before looking their very best. In extreme cases of clutter, we reserve the right to skip over those areas in order to avoid wasting your valuable time and money.
Guarantee: We guarantee our work. Contact the office after your cleanings and we will make every effort to correct any problem immediately.
Limitations of Liability:
If a client chooses to leave their door unlocked, place the key under the mat, or leave their house key in an unsecured place for the workers to gain entry, the client releases Green Girl Cleaning, LLC from all liability and attorney fees that arises from damage made before, during, or after the workers leave the premises. The client understands that they will be responsible for any damages that are caused before/during/after their scheduled service time. Client understands and agrees that Green Girl Cleaning, LLC is a referral/placement service only and is not liable for any damage caused to property, items, or people. Client agrees to lock their valuables away in a safe place and agrees to release Green Girl Cleaning, LLC from all liability for any valuables in the house, including repair or replacement.
Referral Fee: As a customer or client of Green Girl Cleaning LLC, you agree to the following:
Green Girl Cleaning, LLC clients may not solicit our employees or former employees to be contracted or employed by you or your affiliates for services of any kind. If you would like to hire one of our workers to work independently for you or your affiliates, you may submit your request by informing our office in writing. If Green Girl Cleaning, LLC approves your request, you will be required to pay a $5,000 referral fee before our employee is released to work independently for you.
Please be advised that should there be a breech of this agreement this will result in litigation being initiated to recover damages suffered by Green Girl Cleaning, LLC, and the client will be responsible for all legal costs and expenses, including Green Girl Cleaning, LLC attorney fees.
Effective Terms & Conditions
These terms & conditions are effective immediately once client engages in business with Green Girl Cleaning, LLC. The client agrees that any use of the company's services, including placing an order for services by telephone, text, call or e-mail shall constitute the client's acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Using our Site
You may use our site and services only as permitted by law. We may suspend or terminate your access if you don’t comply with our policies or if we are investigating alleged misconduct.
We may send you announcements and other important information in connection with your use of our site. You may opt out of some of these communications at any time.
